 Narendra Modi is the incumbent Prime Minister of India, a position he has held since May 2014. He was sworn in for his third consecutive term on June 9, 2024, becoming the first non-Congress leader to achieve this feat.  Key Information Current Role: Prime Minister of India. Political Party: He is a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Previous Role: Prior to becoming Prime Minister, he served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014.
